For each firearm you wish to qualify with, please bring 50 rounds of ammo.
If you are interested in obtaining your Tennessee Handgun Permit, you must complete an application with the Department of Safety. Follow these steps:
- Visit the Tennessee Department of Safety.
- Click on “Driver Services” at the top of the page.
- Go to “Driver Services Online.”
- Click on the blue “Click Here” button.
- Select “Handgun Permits.”
Print your confirmation and bring it to class.
